Strategic Goals and Projects

When SCADP decides to undertake a project they work in conjunction with the local community to provide them with the resources that they need in order to develop. Broadly, these projects work into health, education, family environments or community livelihoods.


 Thus, project falls under the following four SCADP strategic goals;


I. Promoting Children's Rights to Education:



  • Non-formal education for out-of-school children from age of 5 to 16 years old

  • Formal education for students attending state schools

  • Adult literacy classes for families of students


II. Promoting access to health:



  • Treatment: providing generic medicines as well as referrals to health centres

  • Protection: monthly health check ups and awareness for better hygiene


III. Strengthening Family Environment for Children



  • Interim houses for street-living children, victims of domestic violence or armed conflict

  • Youth clubs

  • Community psychology

  • Cultural development and conservation

  • Early childhood care

  • Drug rehabilitation

  • Elderly care


IV. Community Development



  • Vocational training

  • Credit/savings

  • Job placement

  • Emergency relief

  • Agricultural extension and environment
